The app is outstanding and the ability to read the entire paper plus texting me key topics that are of interest to me. On many occasions im able to read info about the US prior to the US news reporting it.
The journalism is superb. The app goes down for unknown reasons, and despite my subscription, I can’t read it on more than one device. However, the journalism and ability to get actual unbiased news make it a must-have.
I like the SZ app as it „guides“ me through the different news area and topics on a very intuitive way. Also, it makes reading the news on my regular-sized phone easy and pleasant.
I truly enjoy reading the SZ since it not only allows me to keep in touch with what is happening in Germany but let’s me compare views between a top German paper and equivalent US papers (NYT and THE WASHINGTON POST). Thank you. JCS
The SZ is my go-to source for news from Germany--and has been ever since I studied in Munich 40 years ago. I get the alerts and follow up on them, or I just browse.
Great app. High quality content. After 10 years living abroad this still is my major source of daily news.
Wide selection of up to date reliable news about Germany and the world.
Missing a big opportunity by not making use of the screen size of tablets. Single column layout in a large screen does not give you the newspaper feeling that many other newspapers offer (e.g.: NYT, WSJ)
Can read previously read articles offline.
... and besides that, the app is well designed and it's great to use.
