The NZZ app is not only stellar from its journalistic contents, but also from the technical functionality of the app itself. It never crashes, offers great access to clearly readable articles and images, and provides a very clear overview of the available articles. Great job, NZZ.
Same app for iPhone and iPad, despite much larger iPad screen.
We pay for a digital subscription, but after a week or so the app annoyingly wants us to re-login, and then rejects our every attempt. Our only successful workaround has been to uninstall and reinstall the app. Then we can log in, which works for another week or so.
i am using it daily and it has never crashed - Interface is intuitive and easy - Massive improvement over the old application that was quite useless

The app rates perhaps as much as three stars, the content from nzz rates five. Nothing overly impressive about the app, it usually works and has not " crashed" recently.
Der inhalt ist von hoechster Qualitaet, glaubwuerdig, serioes, for allem ist keine Voreingenommenheit fuer Firmen mit Anzeigen und auch keine "Angst" vor Behoerden erkennbar. Der horizont ist weltweit, nicht local oder regional beschraenkt. Diese Vorzuege finden sich bei englisch sprachlichen Blaettern selten oder nie.
Great content from a great newspaper! However, functionality of the App for iPhone and iPad leaves much to be desired. I cannot access my Merkliste or Leseemphelungen on the App, as i can on the Website. Also, it would be Great if I could highlight and copy text on the iPhone App. Finally, we need a dedicated iPad App.
The NZZ ipad app could "learn" a couple of things from this app for iphone, including about adjustable font size in article views.
Overall, a very nice experience!
Maybe facilities for "off-line" reading and refresh could be better.
High quality content in a very well designed and stable app. Nothing less expected from the leading newspaper in the german speaking part of switzerland.
The graphics and layout is fine but after some time the app won’t let you access content anymore despite having a digital subscription. If I try to login it always says that this subscriber is already linked with the account. Several attempts to re-install the app where not successful. Very bad! I will have to cancel my subscription.

since i upgraded to the iPhone XR the App doesn’t show any content anymore, the buttons at the bottom and the top appear, nothing else. I re-installed and rebooted the phone still no luck.
