Impressive journalism on most important issues

I learned about The Telegraph through its incredible podcast, “Ukraine: The Latest.” Every weekday since I found it in Summer 2022 I have kept myself informed with this team of Telegraph journalists who are some of the most informed and dedicated out there. Whereas other news outlets seem to have started to forget that the most important war of our generation (and, quite possibly, our lifetimes) is happening right now, The Telegraph has continued its unwavering coverage, in full detail, and my appreciation for their work on the podcast led me to purchase a subscription to support the rest of their journalism, with which I have been nothing short of impressed. As an American, too often bombarded with biased media, I particularly appreciate the evenhanded approach to important issues presented here. Thank you, and keep up the excellent work. Slava Ukraini!

Working pretty well for me

I have not experienced the iPad issues reported by other users, and do enjoy reading the next day’s news before bed like other expats have mentioned. I like keeping in touch with what is happening back at home, culturally as well as news.
Only thing that stopped working a few updates ago was the ability when doing the crossword puzzle to type out a whole word. Now I have to touch each square before entering the letter, which then will repeat the last letter typed before accepting a new one. Mildly annoying as it slows one down, but not the worst thing as it does still function albeit painstakingly.

Functions well

Telegraph black icon app for Subscribers is doing a good job of presenting the front page and extracting the articles in digital format. The simple navigation is fairly fool proof and enables the reader to browse through every article. I find I can speed read through several articles in quick succession. so that means the response on a basic Internet service is good. The only thing that takes time is to load the daily edition, which is fine and part of the routine.

I love DT

I enjoy the Daily Telegraph because it keeps me updated on sports, culture and politics in the United Kingdom. The traditional values are an enormous plus to me. The Daily Telegraph is in step with my view which is; not all change is progress and smart is not the same thing as wisdom. I look forward to seeing the DT writing on how Britain’s can begin developing its national manufacturing base and preparing young adults to serve our nation together in light of the return to a near war situation with an imperial and ruthless Russia.

I’m really enjoying the Telegraph news service.
The app is fast, well laid out and allows me to cover a lot of stories quickly without problems.
The content is just as good. I feel The Telegraph is a competent news service and does well reporting the news without bias, just giving the facts, and the right amount of “color” to the stories. I believe they are superior to other news services on this side of the pond!

Excellent newspaper

DT provides great news coverage. Their Ukraine podcast is top notch which how I ended up with a subscription. The content is current and well thought out. They have some outstanding journalists and bring in a variety of great guests. The online paper is well designed, has great content and all this from a guy living in Buffalo, NY in USA. Btw, I'm a 30 yr ex pat from Belfast!

Very unhappy with the update

It’s overall a good app and I’ll happily revise my rating to 5 stars (all right, maybe four, as I could never predict if the back button will work and what it will do, unlike for Times/Sunday Times) but the new update is a disappointment. They moved the newspaper away from the main screen and gave its place to “Life” - not interested. Of the four main buttons on the bottom (Home, Latest, Life, Puzzles) two are useless and I have to dig around for the actual newspaper.
Please reverse this update, or at least make these buttons configurable.

Enjoying The Daily Telegraph abroad here in America while making plans to spend more time in England with visits and also with a new flat purchase bringing my lovely English wife closer to ‘home’ with me happy to follow!

I love everything about The Daily Telegraph and am amazed at how much information and quality journalism can be published on a daily basis! Bravo to all involved!

Outstanding, full spectrum reporting.

I reside in the US. Many of us feel the MSM here gives altered reality reporting. For the past 8 years, TV and print cannot be trusted to be unbiased, National and Global news is slanted. It is a pleasure to read a fresh view on world events, independent journalistic commentary, a broad offering of interesting stories and fun fluff.

Great news source

Telegraph is my first choice in obtaining news, even though I live in USA. A wide variety of country specific “local” news, plus excellent international news coverage and editorials.

Add the excellent recipes and other coverage makes the Telegraph excellent value.

Only reason, not rated five stars; a print copy image duplication is not offered. Seeing it in print edition would make it much easier to navigate.
