I’ve been playing this so long that I can’t remember all the detrimental changes that have been made to the game over the years. However, it must be one helluva good game if I’m still playing it. The latest change happened some time last year and it really infuriated me. You used to be able to buy 6 shovels before starting a level if you did it quick enough. Granted, you had to spend $500 for 6 of them. One day I tried to get my 6 shovels but I could only buy 3 for $250! The only way one could get 6 shovels before starting a level was by shelling out some real money and that’s where I draw the line with these games/apps. I wrote an email and swore to the King company that I would never play this game again, because they had found yet another way to squeeze money out of their customers. So I went about 3 months without playing Farm Heroes Saga, but then I caved and started playing it again because, after all, it was one of the first games I started playing when I created my Facebook account. I have since changed my mind about paying hard-earned money on games like this one. I make small purchases, maybe 3 times a month of about $2.99-$4.99 on average. I consider this to be a smart game. By that, I mean it’s more than just lining up 3-of-a-kind to win. The more you play, or the farther you make your way through the game, the more obstacles and rewards there are. So, in conclusion, this game is good enough to keep playing even after the big-wigs at the corporate office try to find ways to mess it up.

I really love this game. It’s fun, challenging but not to challenging. I do have a few complaints the beans and prizes. I’ve gotten a few chest and keys, however when I go to tap it the please rate us ad comes up. What’s that all about? Also I haven’t gotten some of my rewards. The pig comes up after losing a game or to say win this level now to get three gift boxes. So I win like it says no gift boxes come up . If they do it comes up as fast as it goes down. With nothing as a gift . The beans what they even for? I collect and collect but can’t use them but to help bet the raccoon. That don’t even help sometimes. I know y’all need us to purchased gold bricks to earn money. But come on let us use our beans to get boosters. I’m not saying give them to us, I understand that they would cost a lot of beans but at least that a choice. Maybe even to buy a few moves. It’s crazy I have to buy the gold bricks at 9 and I only need one more move at the most. Also why let us build up our piggy bank then just to charge to buy the gold bricks in the bank we worked hard on to fill. I really love this game I have never played a game this long. Usually I get bored and delete the game ( candy crush…) on this one however I’m almost at level 900 . So I would give you 10 starts as a rating if you could fix the few bugs the game has. I know I won’t get the prizes I have won due to the few things I have mentioned. I’m ok with that if I’m the future it gets straighten out. Thank you for your attention and time in this matter. I first discovered Farm Heroes Saga back in 2014 when it was a game you could play via Facebook on my computer . I had been playing Candy Crush for a while , but I really didn’t like Candy Crush. One day I discovered Farm Heroes Saga and I started playing it and I was hooked. I play have played Farm Heroes Saga every chance I get . I spend at least an hour sometimes as much as three hours a day playing Farm Heroes Saga. I’m up to level 5,783. Farm Heroes Saga had weekly and holiday challenge levels to earn 6 hours or a 1 day’s worth of unlimited lives which made the game fun because you only had so many hours or days to complete the challenge levels in order to win either 6 hours or 1 days worth of unlimited lives. Farm Heroes Saga also had challenges for the annual birthday of Farm Heroes Saga . But not anymore. King games has now forgotten Farm Heroes Saga and has shifted its focus on to its latest offering Candy Crush Solitaire . Because of King games new focus on the new Candy Crush Solitaire and the money grab it does to advance on levels, Farm Heroes Saga though still my go to game to pass time is basically losing its fun factor that it once had. I get it though that in this day and age everything is about making money.

This game is one of the more creative iDevice games I’ve played. The characters are cute and unique. I like the fun sounds they make. Overall the game seems to have a “happy” theme, which is nice. But that’s where my enjoyment ends. I quit playing after a couple of years and recently came back to it. Now I remember why I quit. I’m on level 976. Most of the levels now are ridiculously “super hard” by design—in an effort to get you to spend gold bars so that you have to buy more. When I have to play a single level a dozen or more times, using multiple boosters, in order to progress through the game, the fun and relaxation go out the door! It just becomes a game of pure frustration, creating dread, because I know I eventually have to go back in to FIGHT another day! This totally defeats the purpose of why I chose this game in the beginning! I’m about to stop playing once again, likely for good this time. I encourage the developers to remember that people of all ages play this game and have different desires on what they want out of it. Not all of us are young and thrive on constant competition and brain challenging. Some of us just want games that are fun and provide a relaxing distraction from the anxieties of life. Developers, please consider giving players an option to choose an “easy—medium—hard” level of play for the whole game so that individuals can play at whatever level of complexity they so choose. I’d pay a one-time fee to have this option and I’m sure others would, as well.
