This is the best game I’ve played in awhile. If you’re into fashion and styling I’d highly recommend it! There’s different categories that you can pick from to style the models and there’s even mood boards you can create!

This game is like nearly every other freemium conversion on Netflix. it starts out fun and then as soon as you figure out how everything works it slams a door in your face. Once you figure out what you need to put together a winning look, you reach a point where you don’t have the means to acquire the items necessary for the winning look, and there’s no way to acquire them. It’s a shame, because I thought it was very enjoyable to enter a few competitions each day, collect the rewards and have tokens to buy new stuff for a few more competitions. However, the rewards for voting and participating in competitions are simply not enough to get the things you need to place for the next competition. I made it to level 12 before things started getting so not fun that I don’t want to play anymore. I presume this is where the freemium version starts pressing the player for real money to advance.

I can’t say this enough. Netflix stop wasting money on freemium conversions. They do not work for a subscription service and they will not end up making people like me - you’re most profitable customers who have the highest tier subscription, and only watch one screen for a an hour or two a day from pausing their subscription from time to time.

I will start off by saying I was a huge Covet Fashion player so I am very familiar with these types of games.

This one is particular seems to be using AI generated models. They are pretty however some fine tuning could be used in order to make some of the garments fit more gracefully or naturally. Because of the poses some models have, the clothes sometimes fit awkwardly or stretches weird. The glasses also fit weird on the face at times and makes the outfit look meh even though it’s a properly coordinated ensemble. The feet/shoes also fit weird sometimes, specially the heels.

I also have an issue with the way the currency works in the game. Despite this game not being a “pay to win” (which i love) it does have its limitations when it comes to the amount of clothes you can get. Some garments are pretty pricey and you can’t unlock it forever. Imagine you buy a designer purse and you have to pay full price after the third time you wear it. This is how the game works. Same for filters, shoes… basically anything. Not a fan of that. Sometimes I think I have the perfect evening gown for a a certain look because I own it only to realize I have to pay for it again and therefore can’t use it because I don’t have enough money.

Overall it’s a fun game. I enjoy just coming up with outfits, however I think the models could use some fine tuning, as well as the way the clothes fit, and also the currency system and how often I can use my items.. just not ideal.
