- Added a warning when adding annotations (such as highlights) to PDFs, in case the embedded OCR text gets corrupted. You can turn this warning on or off in Settings. - Fixed an issue where the Settings screen could not be opened from the sidebar on macOS (Designed for iPad).

* Expanded reading status controls: You can now change the reading status (Unread / In Progress / Completed) from the reader screen and from the multi-selection menu. * Suggestions for publisher and author fields: When editing metadata, the publisher and author fields now suggest names already used in your library, helping avoid duplicates from inconsistent spelling and reducing typing. * Redesigned publication date picker: Replaced the three separate year / month / day pickers with a single tap-to-open calendar.

* Bookmarks: You can now bookmark any page and jump back to it instantly from the bookmark list. Bookmarks are stored in the sidecar file, so the PDF itself is left untouched. * Live Text on covers: In the metadata editor, you can now select text directly from a cover image — just like in the Photos app — and drop it straight into the title or author field. Less typing, fewer typos.

Fixed a bug where editing a tag name could sometimes cause the tag to disappear from all books.

* Improved reader layout on iPhone: Moved share, display settings, and metadata buttons to a new menu in the top bar, giving the page slider significantly more space on compact screens. * Automatic binding direction detection: shelff now reads the binding direction embedded in PDF metadata and applies it automatically when no sidecar is present. * Reader menu auto-hide settings: Added two new options — automatically hide the menu on page turn, and start the reader in immersive mode. Find them in Settings > Reader. Fixed missing localizations in search UI.

* Added "Not Finished" reading status filter to quickly focus on unread and in-progress books * Reading status filter now works in the Recently Read view * Reader navigation history is now multi-level — go back and forward freely after multiple jumps via table of contents, links, or slider. Keyboard shortcuts are also supported (⌘[ / ⌘])

* Added standard OS actions (Look Up, Translate, Web Search, Share, Speak) to the text selection menu * Highlight colors are now selectable from 5 options (yellow, pink, blue, green, purple). Underline and strikethrough annotations are also supported
