Stop a crazed superpower from launching deadly nuclear missiles in this action stealth side-scrolling game set during the Cold War.
As a budding Agent for C.O.U.N.T.E.R, jump into action, stealthily sabotage dastardly plans and deceptively maintain world peace.
CounterSpy™ is packed with slick, stylized visuals that capture the spirit and feel of the era complementing equally smooth side‐scrolling cover‐based shooting gameplay.
The game utilizes procedural content generation so missions are always changing to offer something new and challenging. Discover blueprints and dossiers that give you access to new, powerful weapons and features.

Excellent Tactical/Stealth Shooter
I loved almost everything about this game: the tactical combat, the procedural generation, and yes, the controls. In fact, the controls were one of the best parts for me. While it is true that this isn't really a pure stealth game, as you are encouraged to kill all enemies, the consequences for alerting enemies before you can kill them are sufficiently harsh to encourage stealthiness and pick off enemies one by one.
My only complaint is that a few of the weapons can only be unlocked if you also bought the PlayStation version. While I understand the motive for such restrictions, I think we deserve to get all of the game that we paid for.
In summary, this game was definitely worth it. The aiming controls were ingenious and intuitive, the combat requires thinking rather than just reflex, and the art style and camera angles were done perfectly.
Good Game, a Bit Glitchy
CounterSpy is one of my favorite games out there. I love almost everything about it. The controls are a bit buggy at times, but didn't provide too big a problem for me. I love the fact that as you progress, you unlock dossier files that reveal the story. I found a bug (maybe?) that only 5 weapons are available, but if you go into the weapon blueprints menu, ten are shown. I wish that you could infiltrate American bases as well as Soviet bases. Maybe be able to unlock and play as a different character (Since Bishop Five "isn't ready to face his own country"). Overall, a great game with amazing art and music.
Unfortunate, the controls
Well I just love this game on my Vita but I have my phone with me much more often. It looks everybody is good as the Vita version and runs just as smooth on iPhone 6. Unfortunately the controls are garbage here, and it's much more enjoyable on the Vita. They don't even give you other options for controls. It's all swipe bull crap and I feel like I don't really control my character. This is like the point and click version of mobile.. I want a little control. You could at least provide a mix of some analog onscreen controls and some buttons and swipes. I don't think it would be that hard to figure out something that works. 5 dollars wasted. I'll stick to the Vita version. Man I hope Oddworld doesn't suffer a similar fate. I'm afraid to purchase that now. That was great on the Vita as well.
