WWII Themed Tower Defense
Fun game - for sure kept me entertained. However like a lot of tower defense games, it becomes monotonous fairly quickly. I enjoy tower/defense type games and this one is beautifully done. The WWII, Pacific theme is truly captivating.
There are a few downsides to this game:
1) Not particularly enough variety in weapons to keep it interesting. Becomes formulaic after a few rounds.
2) No help or detailed instructions. For instance, I’d love to know more details about the comm terminals. What does it mean to have a level 2 piece of equipment vs level1? How does the “interest” work? Lots of questions and no real assistance on the developer's page (or otherwise).
There are a couple upsides as well:
1) Cool “rewind” feature let’s you go back a wave.
2) I don’t feel like I have to micromanage every detail in the game.
3) Impressive theme in both sight and sound.
Ultimately this game gets 4 stars because for $3.99 I think it’s a good value.
Lot’s of fun
iBomber is a lot of fun, not so hectic paced that you can not keep up with it.
One star missing because the enemy can get behind you, or an objective with no place to put a cannon or gun to stop them….
(thinking the guttacannel oil refiery). Maybe should let you place your defenses freeform instead of forced spaces.
Still, a great tower defence game with lots of promiss.
