Description

AirView was developed for use with Ubiquity surveillance cameras. These devices have a built in RTSP streaming server for getting the live video feed to (almost) every network enabled device.
But you can use AirView also for streaming video from several other sources to your iPhone. Free sample video feeds are shipped with your app. There are several configuration options to fit your needs. As AirView! is based on FFmpeg it supports video over various transport ways such as: http, https, mms, mmsh, rtmp, rtsp and much more.

Crashes, have never been able to launch successfully :-(

I assume this app should be compatible with one of my devices, and run on current OS version if it is listed for purchase on my devices.

I have the following devices, and I am disappointed to report that it does not run on either.

2018 iPad Pro 12.9”
iPadOS 15.2.1

IPhone X
iOS 15.2.1

App displays startup splash screen for 0.5 sec, then just disappears. Have never seen interface, options or anything except the beautiful “eye” logo.

Disappointing.

I was very excited at the prospect of using this app to use the iPad as an AirPlay destination — disappointed that it won’t even launch.

Regardless of whether or not the app has the ability to what I need, it won’t even get to any kind of interface or configuration UI on either of my devices.

How to get this to run?

If not, how to get a refund?

Have I mentioned my disappointment at all?

Not working, dev has disappeared

The support site does not exist, and the app crashes immediately on startup. I believe it DID work at some point, but it doesn’t anymore.
