This app has a lot of great info

However, the best thing was the Elgin Today section. Now it is empty all the time, why??? I would get updates about the garbage pickup schedule throughout the week. Now it is posted once under the city updates section. This doesn’t remind the Friday folks to put their garbage out on Saturday.

I wish they had this sooner!

This app is amazing! I had a response with-in hours of my first report. The issue had been fixed by the time I got home from work. The app is so easy to use and allows you to add pictures. Thank you for streamlining this process!

Barely Functional

This app has now been on life support for about a year. The 311 function doesn’t even confirm if a support request has been sent anymore.

Furthermore, the app still hasn’t been updated to support the larger screen sizes that have been out for multiple years.

The city needs to either pay the money required to update the app to modern standards, or just kill it altogether.

App Privacy

The developer, City of Elgin, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.

The developer will be required to provide privacy details when they submit their next app update.
