The most complete speech timer for iOS !

Speech Timer is used in talks, speeches, debates, conferences, or whatever needs a polite reminder to remain on time!

- Clean and simple interface with friendly chimes
- Up to 3 custom warning times (full version only)
- Timeline shows you where you are in your speech
- Go overtime up to 15 minutes
- Count up and down modes
- Display time in H:M:S, minutes or seconds format
- No advertisements !

At a science conference or giving a big talk? This app helps you keep time and displays only what you need to see- large and legible time in a clean and simple interface. Keep it by your side, or let the timekeeper hold it up for you. Friendly reminder chimes let you know that time is running out, without disrupting your presentation.

A timeline shows you where you are in your speech at a glance. It includes a moving indicator, and colored bars to show the position of the warning sections. Time is displayed in the default HH:MM:SS format, or in a more readable minutes or seconds format. Can be used in count down (default) and count up modes.

In case you need more warning times, up to 3 customizable warnings are available (full version only). Now you can make sure you have enough time for a wrap-up/ conclusion and the Q&A. In case you do go overtime, overtime mode will let you know and shows you by how much.

This app does not contain advertisements. Besides, when would you have time to view ads while giving a talk?

Best of luck with your speech !

We appreciate any comments/suggestions.

Good beginning - needs better sound support.

Does not have the ability to select the warning sound or ending sound.
Each warning should be configurable to the same or different sound. The ending should be configurable to a different sound from the warnings. And while you’re at it, please make an optional and selectable starting sound.

Best speech timer app out there, but...

I purchased this app for a class I am in. It works fine and is better than the other app I downloaded. It was so good that I paid for the upgraded version. I have a few complaints though. First and most obvious, the app doesn't change orientation when you turn the iPad. It's not a deal breaker but I have my iPad setup like a laptop so I literally have to have it sitting on the keyboard when I'm using it in class. Second, I cannot change the colors of the timeline. The minimum time for my speeches is 3 minutes, but the timeline starts green. It would be nice to change the first color to red, then green, then yellow, then orange, and then red again. Which brings me to my last complaint, I would like to be able to add time markers or take them away, and have more color options for the time markers. I know this app is meant for speeches and speech practice, but the applications could be so much more if those options were available. Overall great app and you really can't beat it for $1, so I gave it 4 stars.

Simple yet Elegant

I have been looking quite se time (pun intended) for a timer to use at 12 Step meetings. They all seem to be using single time counters that have to be reset at the warning (last minute) point and reset again for the next speaker.
This works so well. The large font size, the bold colors, the subtle yet clear tones - I love it.
I doubt I will need the upgrade that adds second and third warning periods but bought it anyway to support the app maker.
