Editors’ Notes

In this powerhouse sequel, empires aren’t conquered by force or subterfuge—they’re built by catching chickens, mining ore, and harvesting crops in absorbing connect-the-dots puzzles. As you accumulate resources, you spend them to hire workers, erect buildings, and craft tools to develop a bustling community. Gradually, you form other settlements, spreading your kingdom across a vast map that never leaves you without interesting challenges. It’s the kind of expertly designed mash-up that snaps everything neatly into place, creating an irresistible mix of strategy and puzzle gaming.

Fun but you’ll inevitably hit a pay wall hard

This game is almost as good as the first one, and even has the whole “same but more” feel that all good sequels have.
Unfortunately, there’s sizable problems that effectively keep you from playing after a certain point unless you don’t mind spending money or grinding.
I’m having to do the same level 70 times over to unlock the next town, due to research requirements. This doesn’t include the 40 extra levels I’ll need to get the necessary tools to play the levels well enough to get my 1% of carrot research each time.
Plus, there’s pointless social features nobody uses (more so than usual anyway) and no way to send feedback.
I get this is a free game, but this artificial progress impediment is probably more likely to either cause people to give up or grind frustratedly. The price is too ludicrously high to be worth it. I’d have to spend 20$ to unlock the next level because of unfinished research! I’d much rather pay 5$ and get the original streamlined experience of the first game instead.

So far so good

I've only recently downloaded this game and so far haven't found any bugs. I used to play the original Puzzle Craft however I eventually deleted it due to lack of space, I realized that there was a puzzle craft 2 that had come out and decided to download the game for old times sake. I've seen many reviews saying that the game has glitched and no longer allows it to be opened by others, however . So far the direction of this game is taking is a fun and original one.
