iLove Screen Lock 4+

Exactly what I needed.

I was on a hunt for a screen lock mechanisim outside of the system one because I need some things to run in the background that couldn't using the system lock screen. iLove Screen Locks works amazingly great for that. I had to disable the fade feature so that it wasn't easily recognizable that its an app running. I would love if we could place the little curtain pull in different locations or even change the color of it. One thing to know, if you are using Keyboard Maestor, KM will alert you that iLove is in the way of using your keyboard shortucts but so far, everything works as it should regardless of the alert.

UPDATE AFTER APP REMOVAL AND REINSTAL

The App now works as advertised. Not sure why the passworded function wasn't functional the first time around, but most happy now.

What this app does is unique. As my iMac had it's internal SSD fail, I have had to use an external boot (NVMe). As a result, use of any system sleep, standby, or system lock functionality causes a reboot. My only choices was to wait for a screen timeout or shut down the computer.

This app works and doesn't cause the above problems. I'm glad I chose to reinstall.

Once you've set a password in the settings, you'll need it to open the screen.

needs alot fo work. does not secure to a lock prompt. just blanks the screen with a time in the left bottome corner and a pull shade string icon to "unlock" the device.
