iSilo 4+

This application still works on my iPhone but the navigaton functions have ceased to work in my Mac OS 11.4 (Big Sur). It seems to have reverted to free version. Can the developer ,DC & Co fix this bug (update this app) for the new MacOs? Thank you.

One of the most powerful eReaders available.

At first I tried to find every excuse not to download this app. I wanted a digital version of my particular Bible translation and it was only available in iSilo, but I didn’t want yet another eReader on my phone and tablet. I reluctantly downloaded it and then realized how powerful it is. The ministry that publishes this particular Bible also publish several study guides and devotionals. They all seamlessly interact with one another!

If I’m reading the devotional and it has multiple Scriptures for me to look up, I need only tap it and the Bible is instantly opened to that part of the Bible. Sometimes they devotionals quote other references and, as long as they’re downloaded into my iSilo app, I’m can gain instant access to that portion of the suggested readings.

I no longer need a set of four books floating around me as I flip through countless pages. I simply tap, tap away.

Of course it’s not without its downsides, but I’m currently very pleased with what it does offer, especially for the price.

Stopped working on Big Sur. Our ministry alerted me (us) almost a year ago in 2020 that they would no longer suppport iSilo and doesn’t use the platform anymore. I believe that spells that this softward is now defunct. I hesitated to update my laptop because of that. However, I am being fored to upgrade my MacBook to Big Sur by my Audio hardware and software. In the process I finally lose my iSilo, one of the best e-readers ever. I wish I knew why they (iSilo) ceased to update their application, unless there is something about the new mac software that obsoleted ISilo for them.I Hope they can resurrect.I would gladly pay a reasonable price for it. Granted that it was very cheap for the good that it did.
