Ivy uses a 100-year-old strategy for getting things done in a stress-free way. It uses a secret productivity tool used by world-class experts like athletes, scientists, and CEOs.
The Ivy Lee method goes back to 1918, when a productivity consultant (Ivy Lee), was hired by Charles M. Schwab to improve the efficiency of his team. Supposedly, Lee offered his productivity tool (what this app helps you do!) to Schwab for free. Schwab was so pleased with the results he wrote Lee a check for $25,000 — which is equivalent to about $400,000 today.
We've used this method of prioritization to help you manage tasks and to-dos in your daily life.
With Ivy you can:
- Follow an intentionally simple daily routine.
- Get a historical view of what you did each day.
- Add to-dos to days in the future.
- Track your productivity over time with Streaks.
- Get out of your head with a simple backlog.
We hope you love Ivy!
In this update we made some small visual changes to your Calendar and fixed some bugs.

Minimalistic & Well Made
Great app design and atmosphere. Very easy to add in to-do notes and the streaks page encourages me to keep on top of them! Also really like the “backlog” page, which I don’t see in a lot of to-do apps. Only part that’s a little confusing is how do I add more than 6 tasks or edit/delete them? There’s also no notification options to get alerted to do tasks at a certain time. Would like to see that on the roadmap! Great job overall 🙌🏼 Keep it up.
Loved this 🔥
Love it. Minimalist but very functional.
Would love to see a dark theme in future updates and maybe push notifications alerting us how many tasks we have left every x hours or so :)
A great system and a great app
I have been using a similar system of keeping a bulleted list of weekly backlog tasks and a checklist of daily to-do’s. Ivy does exactly this with a beautiful interface and helpful statistics on your streaks. Awesome job by the dev.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
