Description

You don't need expensive tools to create simple vector drawings. With Karo Graph, you draw diagrams, flowcharts, technical drawings, drafts or code documentation quickly and intuitively with a flexibility unavailable to more complex applications!

Karo Graph is a very easy Tool for simple Diagrams with lines, rectangles, colors, symbols, arrows like float-charts, technical drawings and all sort of vector graphics. It has already been used for Lego plans, documentation of ground floors, room and furniture planning, knitting patterns, level-design of games, Fortnite-trap planning, helping tools for teaching and learning like physic diagrams, GUI mockups and many more.

The tools are just what you need: A customizeable grid, carefully selected colors perfect for printing and presentation, lines and arrows with different line widths, and fully customizeable symbols.

The application is optimized for fullscreen and it works great with a drawing tablet!

Very simple, basic and user friendly!

I like this app because it is very simple and only does basic graph paper. No fringes, no color, no extra’s. Just lines, dots and words. I love it for planning quilts that I’m trying to design. The only thing I would like to have is the option to print with the grid in the background on my drawing. Maybe I haven’t explored the options close enough but I can’t find the option. The app only prints the lines I drew on the paper so if I left 2 squares between lines or 3 squares between lines I never know unless I label the space. Not a huge problem to label things but it would help me in my situation to have those lines available.

Thank you for your review!
Printing the grid lines is possible by using the Export-Command in the File-Menu. There, you can choose to print gridlines as well as a border for PDF and EPS.
I am glad you like the basic approach. Hopefully you do not mind if the next version of the application includes colors. :)

I love this app

This is a great little app. What makes it great is what is not. It is not a photoshop, illustrator, visio, or even paint clone. It is a simple diagramming tool. It is minimalist which lets you work quickly without too much thought. I used it to design my new kitchen.

I almost hesitate to suggest new features. It would be sad if this app became yet another bloated graphics app. I can see the author is very judicious in deciding what features to add. I would even hesitate to add color, because then you’re in the realm of color choosers, palettes, and other nonsense. About the only feature I’d consider requesting would be a choice of 3 line thicknesses: normal, thick, and dotted. But even that might be overkill.

Thanks for making such a useful app!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for these words! You are right, I am restrictive with the features but feature requests are always welcome and noted. Development had been postponed for some time now but is in the process of being restarted. Colors have been an ongoing request. Line thicknesses is a new request, I would need to think about how to integrate it properly.

So far so good!

I recently downloaded this app and i love it. Its easy to use and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to use it. After i finshed my project i played with the print set up and got it perfectly how i needed it with a few clicks. Only thing i would like to be added would be click and drag to make circles or ovals the same way we can make squares and rectangles, Wouldve been the icing on the cake for my project. Other then that i like it and hope to use it for further projects.

Developer Response ,

Thanks! Circles and ovals have been a huge request and the next version would include that. Development had to be put on hold though for a couple of months. Stay tuned!
