Marhaba,
You're probably about to download this application because you have a spouse or a Lebanese acquaintance, and you've been lost in translation when she/he speaks in lebanese, especially with family or on the phone with his/her mother in law! And you are so eager to speak this language ...
Or it may be your Lebanese origins that lead you to take courses in lebanese dialect, to reconnect with them, or just to share with family when you visit the Land of Cedars.
But you may also be one of those people who are passionate about Lebanon, who knew about it through a friend, a trip, a book or a documentary. And you are curious about this dialect ...
Finally, it may happen that professional obligations motivate or even require you to learn lebanese. Keefak is your best ally!
Antoine Fleyfel, author of 3 textbooks for speaking lebanese, and teacher of this dialect for more than 9 years, feeds this application with a series of constantly enriched courses accessible anywhere and anytime you want.

Friendly greetings!

Good but Surprised

I love that it’s a Lebanese dialect app (because a lot of apps just teach standard Arabic). Although I was surprised at how little the app teaches you. It’s very superficial when it comes to the entire language. For the information it does teach you, it teaches very well.

Great refresher

I’m a first gen American who lost a lot of my Lebanese language over the years. I found this app to be useful as a reminder of some basic phrases, words, and pronunciations. So far the lessons have been just right and I do not find it lacking or too simple at all. It’s also a great tool for children to learn from. The only trouble I’ve had is with the exercises not working. Thank you for creating a wonderful app!

New version is a downgrade

I downloaded this app years ago and was ecstatic for how useful it was for learning Lebanese! Now that I’ve updated the app, it appears to be a stripped down version of what it used to be and appears to now be geared towards children.
The app used to have something like 15 categories that could be easily navigated, but now there are only eight, and they are staggered into stages that make quick review difficult.
I wish I had the older version back. It had more information and was easier to use.
