So I was playing a game called color, water sort and it was too hard and I saw this ad for * Kitty short twisted tails and then I was like oh that looks fun and it’s a brainstorming thing so I went downstairs and asked my dad if I could get it I said can I can? And he said, let me look at it and I was like you don’t need to because I looked at all of the reviews and all of them have five stars I was thinking myself if I like this game, I will give it five stars and I did so this game is really fun. You know how everyone likes cats not everyone everyonebut colored cats better sorry I mean even better. I hope you enjoy this game if you download it bye

The game feels designed to fail. I’ve played plenty of sorting games before, hard ones too, but they were always challenging in a fair way, not literally impossible. On level 8, it wasn’t just tough, it was unbeatable. I even asked an AI for help, and it got confused. My only option was to watch an ad to move forward. And here’s the kicker: there’s an ad after every single level. I get that devs need to make money (I’m a game developer myself), but flooding players with ads ruins the experience. Personally, I’d suggest something like one ad after every three levels instead of after every click. The game itself is cute and the concept is fun, but if you keep stuffing in ads and making levels unwinnable, people won’t stick around. Players who are determined to solve puzzles will just look for ways around the ads, trust me, I know a few myself.I’ll unfortunately have to give it two stars. The game looks nice, but not fun to play.

All it is, is ads. Beat a level? Ad. Fail a level? Ad. Need a booster? Ad. Putting an ad after every single level, win or lose, is a fantastic way to demolish any sort of momentum or enjoyment. It’s disruptive. It detracts from the game. And I’m thoroughly convinced the execs who make the frequency of ads decision have never touched a mobile phone game in their lives. Imagine watching your favorite movie or tv show and literally every 20 seconds you have to stop to watch a 60-90 second ad. You’d never use that streaming service again, and you know it.And yes, I know it’s a business, so don’t bother giving me the generic “we put ads in to be able to provide more features for our players”. I’ve heard it over and over before.You put ads in to put money in your pocket, nothing else. Make it one ad every 5 levels. Or even after 2 levels. But an ad after every single level is beyond excessive, greedy, and you’re detracting from your players experience. Instant uninstall. Do better.

Fun but ads are horrendous

It’s a fun and addicting game but there’s wayyyy too many ads. And yes, I’m sure the developer will use their default copy/paste comment under this (aka we didn’t read this all we saw was a complaint about ads): “ads are essential to any mobile game” (I mean, not entirely true but whatever) like, yeah I know. I know how the mobile game market works. Free games = more players and that leads to more ad revenue and people willing to pay $8 for no ads. But let’s be real. Not a lot of people in this economy are willing to pay $8 for a game like this. Maybe if you made the “ad free” price cheaper then people would go for it, but not $8. Honestly we should just go back to the days when you had to pay $.99 for a good ad free game but nobody wants to do that because it’s not free and less people are willing to play which means less money for the game companies. Remember when Doodle Jump and Angry Birds cost that much and they were still HUGE even with a small paywall? Maybe try doing that idk. I’m no marketing genius but I have an idea of what the people want and it’s not a million ads and a $8 “no ads” fee (and I’m sure there’s other microtransactions in the game too for coins and stuff). Was this rant kinda unnecessary? Yeah probably, but here’s to hoping the developers will ACTUALLY read this and take this comment into consideration.
