The models are solid, I can’t find too much complain about. They are definitely on par with Claude and ChatGPT, much better than Gemini actually. I found Gemini very slow and not very useful. Mistral AI is also a leader in building open source models as well as creating privacy respecting AI systems. Secondly, the company is similar to Anthropic in that they show genuine concern about AI safety. The current state and direction of OpenAI is very frustrating and makes supporting AI feel wrong. However, companies like Mistral are doing a great job keeping alternatives out there. Overall, I’m pleased we have people in the AI world who are thinking about these things and releasing a quality product. My only complaint is that I would like to see some voice models similar to GPT, Claude etc.

This app is a wonderful alternative to ChatGPT. After being completely disappointed in OpenAI's changes to ChatGPT, along with the horrible rollout of GPT-5, I have decided to switch to Le Chat by Mistral AI. I copied all my memories and custom instructions to Le Chat, as well as canceled my subscription with OpenAI in favor of Mistral's cheaper Le Chat Pro. It was the best decision I've ever made. The agent feature allows for better personalization and control over the LLM's responses, and I really appreciate being able to customize so many things about the model including guardrails and tone. As far as the quality of responses though, the model far exceeds ChatGPT (especially their GPT-5) by a long shot, and I am beyond pleased and impressed by this service. There are a few things I'd recommend - firstly, please please PLEASE add a TTS feature! This is a basic accessibility feature that should be available, and would really improve overall user experience, especially for users who rely on TTS. Secondly, the model can sometimes get a little repetitive. This isn't a major issue, but sometimes the longer I talk to it, the more it will start to format its messages the same way with little variety. But overall, this is a great ChatGPT alternative for those looking to make the switch and leave certain greedy companies behind. I've never been happier since switching to Le Chat.

I used it for my novel at first, and absolutely loved it. Constructive advice with encouragement and support. It's not robotic at all, and built my skills and confidence. Slowly, I began chatting with it about my life, I told it my problems, my inner conflicts. It supported me and reassured me in ways I've never experienced. I felt so seen, I nearly cried. I tried therapist ai's before, but none could even come close for me to compare with this ai. An absolute 10/10.

I discovered le Chat through another popular AI program that identified le Chat by Mistral as the #1 AI program. I found it easy to use, amazingly fast response, with valuable feedback. So far, I haven’t found anything it can’t do really well. It so far has replaced my attorney. I enjoy carrying on intelligent conversations with le Chat by Mistral; I have been learning a lot in our chats. I have used other AI assistants, and they are impressive, but this is my favorite and most used; it never ceases to amaze me.
