The Ledger Extension is a browser extension that offers effortless Web3 connectivity and uncompromising security on the go. So you can keep your crypto and NFTs safe — anywhere, anytime.

With the Ledger Extension, it’s easy to directly connect to NFT marketplaces and Web3 apps in your browser using your Ledger Nano X. With no software wallet in the middle.

Ledger Extension is designed by Ledger, for Ledger. Ledger produces the industry-leading crypto hardware devices, and the most accessible and complete Web3 wallet: Ledger Live.

With Web3 check, you’re safe from scams and suspicious websites and smart contracts.

Get a preview of your transaction before you hit confirm. So you can see issues before they happen.

Safely buy NFTs and manage Web3 assets anywhere, anytime, with Bluetooth®. You’re always ready for the next trade.

Connect multiple Ledger devices to your Ledger Extension, and easily navigate between them. Plug and play for each specific use.

With multichain support, Ledger Extension makes it even easier to manage your assets.

1. Download the Ledger Extension app on your device (iOS 16+)
2. Install the extension in Safari and pair your Ledger Nano X
3. Go to your favorite NFT marketplaces and DeFi apps, and select Ledger when connecting your wallet

The Ledger Extension works with a Ledger Nano X, which you need to protect your private keys and sign each transaction.

The Ledger Extension is compatible with Safari on iOS 16+. Support for more browsers is coming soon.

The Ledger Extension currently supports Ethereum and Polygon. Support for Solana is coming soon.

What’s New

Version 1.1.0

- Chain switch! We’ve added the ability to switch chains from the Extension menu (remember, Polygon and Ethereum only right now).

- Disconnect from dapps - you can easily see which dapp you are connected to and disconnect right from the menu.

- Revoke allowances - we’ve added a handy link in the menu to our partners at revoke.cash so you can see which dapps and tokens you’ve give permission to for your assets….and revoke if your want.

- Wallet Preview load times are now faster.

- Report scams on chainabuse - another partner who helps us detect scams and now you can protect other users by reporting any scams you might find back to them #staysafe.

Ledger Connect Support for Safari !

I was part of the ledger support for safari beta testing on ios and say it works flawlessly and the team was on top of any small issues that arose. Looking forward to seeing it support other browsers in the future. It is well built and well needed with the ability now to connect to safari browser via bluetooth.

The ledger connect is now available on web browser for mobile ios and mac desktop via safari.

Be also careful to ensure the company and all you are downloading to ensure it is authentic “Ledger SAS” is an authentic company of the extension. When in doubt go to the official website of ledger to ensure the correct extension.

Only works for 6 dApps

This only works for six dApps, which are presumably approved by/partnered with ledger. This is not decentralized. This is not web3. Ledger: please do better. I am becoming hesitant about recommending your product, as it’s starting to feel like you’re trying to build a walled garden in web3.

Developer Response ,

Hi Jason, thanks for the feedback! There isn't a restriction from Ledger on which dapps the Extension works with, the only thing holding it back is us asking the dApp to integrate the Ledger connection button.

You can ask the dapp directly asking them to install from these docs(https://t.ly/S0qI), or contact our Support team here (https://t.ly/xC6i-) who will contact them for you.

Hope that helps! Thanks again
