This Bible and its lessons took 20 some years to assemble, by one of the best pastors/educators out there. Dr. Getz has 70 years in the ministry, writing numerous books, serving as senior pastors, educating and now creator of this incredible resource that will teach more than you ever thought you knew about our God and His word, and how it applies to you in a practical, easy-to-understand way. He doesn’t water down the content into meaningless drivel. It’s God’s word and sometimes it’s hard to hear. But if you want to know our Father and how he wants to love us, not coddle us with false promises like some churches do, get this. Follow Gene’s lessons. He’s interesting and amiable and so knowledgeable. We were blessed to attend his church in the 90’s—a life changing experience that continues with the study in this Bible. You won’t be sorry.

I have had this Bible for several years and have enjoyed using it as a study Bible with the added benefit of video teaching. I have recently started intentionally walking with several men through a discipleship process and have found the ability to look up and send video teachings to the men the Lord has led me in to this time with. What an amazing way to encourage those we love!!!After several years, I feel like I have found why the Lord truly led me to this Bible and am praying for all God will do as we encourage each other daily.

I guess I was an early user of this app. Several years ago happened to hear Dr. Gene Getz speak. When he was introduced, this app was mentioned. I downloaded it that day and was immediately surprised. I never expected it to included a comprehensive video commentary of the entire Bible! Ok, not every verse, but Dr Gene doesn’t miss very many versions! It was great but I didn’t expect it to last. Bible apps come and go on a regular basis. Every time Apple brought out an updated IOS, I expected this app to disappear. Instead, it has continues to be improved and updated. New, higher quality video’s replace older versions. My hat’s off to Dr Getz and the entire team! Their dedication to provide quality commentary, packaged in an accessible app is an outstanding achievement! To God Be the Glory!
