Little Snitch Mini makes these network connections visible and puts you back in the driver’s seat!

It’s a lightweight, unobtrusive but yet incredibly powerful network monitoring and firewall tool, allowing you to conveniently watch and analyze all Internet connections made by your apps, and conveniently block unwanted ones with a single mouse click.

It provides exciting insights into the network activity of your computer and shows detailed connection information of all apps and system processes.

Enjoy easy to understand real-time diagrams of network traffic, an animated map view to identify connections into various countries, a traffic history with statistics information about previous connections over the past twelve months, and an extremely easy to use blocklist management – just choose from a curated set of blocklists to instantly isolate your computer from thousands of advertising-, tracking-, or malware-sites.

The basic network traffic monitoring functionality, including a real-time connection list, traffic diagrams and the animated map view of worldwide network connections can be used for free.

The full feature set, including blocking of connections, extended traffic history time ranges, advanced display and filtering options and more is available as an in-app purchase.

A must have application, allowing users to understand and manage data transfers that otherwise go unnoticed. Such details allows you the ability to make educated security enforcement decisions, such as blokcing an applications attempt to log and transfer user behaviors which can then be monetized by the associated company.

Not Ready Yet

This new mini version of Little Snitch blocked incoming local shares from another Mac--default. It claims "blocking" is only on the subscription version. Too bad. You can remove it by trashing the app, but like other apps, you have to go to Library and find all related files. Also and FYI, this uses a System Extension. I have Mac Studio, Mac-Mini Intel--both with lastest Ventura.

Developer Response ,

Little Snitch Mini does not block any incoming connections by default. Please contact our support and we would be happy to help finding the cause of your observations.

And to uninstall it’s sufficient just to move the app to the Trash. No need to go to the Library.
