Lovewick: Relationship App 17+

My partner and I have been using Lovewick for a couple months now, we’re long distance and he isn’t the type to express a lot in person, so it’s been a perfect way to stay connected and learn more about him in a medium that’s way more comfortable for him. I love the section where you can put important dates and favorites in, it’s super sweet and easy access. The date ideas are fun and we love putting milestones up to look at, especially when we aren’t together. One thing that’s a little frustrating is that, since we are long distance we almost never do cards in person. When filling out the cards, the “save” button is close to the “completed” button and it’s hard to discern a lot. It would be great if either they were in totally different places, or you could I mark a card as played so the other person sees it better. It would also be fun if there were a way to do more back and forth after the cards. Even if there was a “I’d like to discuss this further” button to indicate if there isn’t a chat function. Since we each answer it’s really great to get our singular thoughts out but it would be nice to explore some of our answers deeper when we see what each other wrote. Overall really have enjoyed using Lovewick and I’ve recommended it to friends as a great way to stay connected (and especially my guy friends who are figuring out how to open up more:) ).

I found a romantic partner while traveling in Indinesia, but I live in the US. We both knew I was planning to live in Indonesia for a while, but not for another few months.
I downloaded this app for us in the meantime to get to know each other better since we only spent two weeks together, but plan to date when I move there.
This app specifically allows for bonding without being with each other in person or knowing too much about each other.
This is great for if you want to learn more about your partners background, personality, beliefs, etc.

The question cards are great,
the ONLY thing I would suggest is allowing to add our own questions. I have a few important questions that would be brilliant to include, but I don’t have the option.

my partner got a new phone, but couldn’t remember his password. The customer service rep responded to my email pretty fast, and offered to change his preferred email so he could reset password. Ali was so helpful!

My boyfriend and I used to use this app to keep our dates and memories in, and have our goals. These didn’t have to be date ideas, and the goals tab recently got removed. Now it’s all community based date ideas and I hate it. I don’t need a community involved in my date ideas or relationship. I also can’t find the ones we had. They changed it so the photo isn’t across the top anymore as well, and it’s just a small circle that you can’t even see, so it’s pointless to have a photo now too. Along with this, the app used to have a little fire icon, and now it’s love wick written as an eye ball shape? It doesn’t make sense with the name. Stop changing things please! It worked so well before, and now with all the change’s happening I’m considering finding another app. I can’t load things in correctly either.

Hi! Oh my gosh, I'm sorry to hear that you think we're moving in the wrong direction. I want to clear something up for sure: the Goals tab definitely still exists, it's just been changed to Wishlists, and all of your ideas/goals should still be there! We heard from lots of couples that it would be easier to organize them this way, and the Explore tab is a completely optional way to get additional extra ideas for dates, gestures, and gifts -- you certainly don't have to have other couples involved in your dates or ideas if you don't want that extra inspiration.
