Mail Exporter Pro is an easy to use and high performance utility to export your Apple Mail data into Microsoft Outlook:mac 2015, Outlook:mac 2011, Microsoft® Entourage Archive and common standard formats [MBOX (.mbox) or EML (.eml)] so that it can be migrated to Mircsoft Outlook:mac, Microsoft® Entourage, Mozilla Thunderbird, Postbox or any other software application which supports import from these formats on variety of platforms.

Apple Mail stores emails in emlx file format. Sometimes attachments are stored in emlxpart files. Mail Exporter Pro is capable of correctly processing all emlxpart attachments. We compared it with many other utilities and found that other tools can handle only one level of emlxpart attachments. But Mail Exporter Pro can correctly handle multilevel or nested emlxpart attachments. It can also detect corrupt emails and un-cached attachments and produces a detailed log report for your valuable emails.

Complete Waste of Money
Does not work with El Capitan. Cannot import anything, even when I point it towards the correct folder. Buggy and useless. I feel like someone just robbed me.
Not Easy to use
The wizard interface is not easy to use, the instruction pop up windows get quickly obscured by other pop ups and cannot be moved to the side to remain visible. The program implies that exporting your files is just a point-click breeze and that clearly is not the case. Here's a tip developers, a simplistic user interface window does not mean the interface is truly simplistic when guidance is lacking and the software shows no signs of being the wizard it supposedly is to help you through. HUGE waste of money.
Works superbly, without surprises. Fast & reliable
If you want to keep an archive of your emails, or if you want to export them in EML or mbox format then this is a superb, painless, and fast way of doing so.
The user interface isn’t very elegant (it would be nice to uncheck all folders, or would be nice to not have to start at the beginning to export a different folder) but these quirks can be tolerated the few times you will have to do so.
What is important is that the export works reliably, and completely, and compatibly. It’s itterly dependable.
I have used this company’s other p[roduct to export and archive PST files and my experience was the same: It just works superbly (but the UI is a bit quirky.)
It’s a relief to have an on-site backup of more than a decade of emails…safely on my server.
