I really enjoyed playing Mars Survivor at first — the graphics are cool, gameplay is smooth, and the survival mechanics kept me engaged. It’s a fun, casual experience that starts off strong.But unfortunately, I hit a major wall at level 14. You can’t upgrade your tools or gear past that point, and it blocks you from progressing to the final mission that requires level 20 equipment. It’s really disappointing to put in all that time and not be able to finish the game. I was hoping for more content or at least a path forward.I’d gladly rate this higher if they fix the level cap issue or add more endgame content. Until then, it feels like an unfinished experience.

This isn’t a game; it is an Ad machine disguised as a game. 1. Mine materials A. Watch Ads to speed up mining. 2. Turn in materials to construct some machine. A. Watch Ads to speed up construction. This is the two and only things you will do in this game. That being said they sprinkled in more Ads to watch for different things. If you think you won’t watch Ads and be able to play this game you are wrong. The longer you play the more Ads you have to watch to speed things up. For instance when you get an hour long construction wait time, this is 3 Ads. Why 3, the Ad only shortens the time by 20 minutes. It’s actually brilliant on their part but an absolute waste of your time. It becomes monotonous and it will make you anxious and stressed. There are also random timer Ads that interrupt the game forcing you to watch an Ad. The wearable items you can get cost gems or whatever the currency is, oh and you guessed it more Ads once a day to get a free item. But it’s not free is it… It cost you time. Note: For those that like watching an endless amount of Ads this game is for you.

There may be a great game here. The controls feel good. The hit registry is rewarding. The background ideas are there. But I’ll never know if the developers were able to pull it all together, as this game is rendered entirely broken by the ridiculous and incessant advertising. Every 2-3 minutes you get a full screen splash ad. More often than not, this ad will freeze and you’ll have to reset (which doesn’t seem to reset the ad clock curiously enough). This is all in addition to the banner ad constantly at the bottom of your screen. Sure, you could spend $8 and go “ad free”. Frankly though, I couldn’t spend enough time in the game to even see if that was worth it. Developers- pick one. Don’t shove ads into every orifice and crevice. Pick one system and stick with it. I suspect had the experience not been ruined, I would have played this game quite a bit. As it is, you got less than an hour of my time before I deleted it forever.

Good game. Has potential. I’d be happy to spend $30 on this game IF THE GAME WAS COMPLETE. I played for 5 minutes, liked the game mechanics and watched 3 forced ads. I considered removing the ads, but read from other reviews that the game is unfinished and has no ending or further updates after a particular level (14?). That is a HUGE red flag.If the developer wants me to commit money to this game, then the developer needs to commit developer time and content to finishing it. I’m not going to spend money on what is not there. The game feels more like an extended DEMO with ads, than a real product. For now, I will delete the game. This usually means I will never revisit this game. It also makes me question the developers other offerings.I give this product an A for quality, fun, and playability (5 stars) as a game demo but an F for completeness, execution on content and value (-3 stars). Final is 2 stars, which is generous for an unfinished game. A 5 star product would be one that is a complete basic game that has activities to work on with the option to spend money to enhance or expand or extend the game indefinitely. This game is NOT that.I recommend exploring the game with a download if you’re interested in the type of game, but I DO NOT recommend committing any money to it until it is a complete product.
