Description

Feel better about how and what you eat.

Use this app to train yourself to eat mindfully.

The app has 6 features. You can use as many or as few of them as you want, whenever you need reminders to eat mindfully. The app can be your lifetime eating coach.

1. BEFORE YOU EAT: the app walks you through the steps of making a decision to eat or to NOT eat (resist an urge to eat if you aren’t really hungry). If you decide to eat, you think about what and how much will feel good afterwards and plan to stay mindful while eating so you can stop before getting overfull no matter what you decide to eat.

2.AFTER YOU EAT: the app prompts you to remember how hungry you were, why you ate and how you feel NOW about what and how much you ate. When you eat something that doesn’t feel WORTH IT, you learn from that experience so you are less likely to repeat eating something that you now wish you had NOT eaten.

3. Reflect on Your Day: As you go thru each day you will see your entries for that day listed right below on the main screen. This helps you stay on track. At the end of the day, questions prompt you to think about your day and plan for tomorrow.

4. Calendar Icon: When you tap on the calendar you can see a summary for the past month of your fullness ratings. The color on the day tells you if you are making progress (light orange) or if on this day you did well; you always stopped before you got moderately full (green).

5.REVIEW DATA: You can monitor your progress toward six different goals over the past four weeks (see Lesson 1). Note you can SEND your raw data to your own email if you want to see it or see your personal Notes. You can also SEND data to a friend, counselor or health coach if you would like more coaching or support.

6. LESSONS: 18 brief lessons are provided to give you more guidance and specific tips on using your appetite to guide eating decisions that FEEL GOOD AFTERWARDS.

Great but there’s a bug

Very useful app but there’s a bug, if I don’t select anything for the “Did you notice…?” Options when Documenting post-eating, it shows up in the graph as the “I was a little too hungry” option automatically. It’s driving me a little nuts since that graph is all skewed now saying I have so many “I was a little too hungry’s” when I never selected that.
Also, could we make an option to edit the time
on entries, sometimes I forget to document after a meal then remember later?
And a way to maybe see the notes we put in the very bottom of the post-meal log in a journal like log somewhere in the app? I’m putting notes on there of what I ate and if I like it even - it’s helping me figure myself out on my intuitive eating journey.

Fantastic app!

I really love this app! It really is a great coach before and after eating. You can practice intuitive/mindful eating so well with it!

However, the one draw back is a technical bug that I do hope gets fixed. In the Before You Eat coaching, I am unable to submit my responses. I tap and tap the grey button and nothing happens. This means that I can’t actually save and track that data. It’s still helpful doing the exercise though even if I can’t save it. But I do hope this gets fixed. I couldn’t find any tech support email to contact which is why I am posting it here.

I will keep using the app though! Great interface, aesthetics, tools, and information to stay on track!

Lots of potential but some problems

I love how this app asks me to focus on healthy habits and self care. However, there are some issues that need to be resolved. When you complete the questions before a meal you must select something under the Time and Consideration of why I want to eat categories. That’s fine but all of the options suggest that I’m eating for reasons other than hunger. You can’t say that you are simply eating because you are hungry. You must select other non hunger reasons. Because of this, I don’t use the app much.
