This is why I created Minimalistic Weather App. I wanted, no needed, a weather app that's not cluttered with unnecessary stuff. The app is simple and has a beautiful minimalistic design that only shows you what you want and what you need. The app is ad-free so you have no distractions that annoy you or drains your batteries. Design The beautiful and minimalistic design makes it easy for you to get the information you need and move along with your day. I have included a variety of minimalistic color themes so that you can personalize the app. Functionality To keep the app minimalistic I have carefully chosen the information that is displayed and the functionalities. You can either get the current weather information in your location or in any other city by searching for it. By double-tapping, on the screen, you’ll switch between showing the temperatures in Celsius or in Fahrenheit. The unit of measurement that you have chosen will be saved and synced to the widget and iMessage extension. The information that is giving to you are: - Current temperature - Daily forecast - Hourly forecast - Min & max temperature - Time of sunrise & sunset - The weather type - 7-Day forecast - 12 and 24-Hour timezones - Both Celsius & Fahrenheit as temperature units Widget: - The app provides a small, beautiful, and simple widget where you can get the current weather info at a glance. Inaccurate temperature info

Love the design, but this app is wildly inaccurate with the temperature where I live (in the Midwest). I understand weather predictions are not an exact science, but the app is literally 7 degrees or more off with just the current temperature.

I debated on buying this for like two weeks because I just wanted it for a widget to match my home screen theme. And I have to admit it definitely gives what I PAID for but I’m disappointed for 3 reasons:1. I was hoping to customize the font color on the widget more than is allow… I really wanted hot pink on a white background… the only colors available are earth tones.2. I was also hoping for a medium sized widget with the weekly weather. Currently there is only one widget option. 3. I tried to contact support to see if any of these update would be available before I rated (using the address in the app) and my Gmail returned the email saying the address is not available?

I downloaded the app in hopes that since the last HORRIBLE reviews from 2-5yrs ago had been fixed… and the app literally doesn’t work. I open it and it just a blank screen. In terms of aesthetic, it’s nice a simple. That part I like. Two things I don’t like that are important: I can permanently switch to Fahrenheit. I have to double click the screen to view from Celsius to Fahrenheit. No. Defeats the purpose of a minimalist app. Secondly, the weather forecasts are incorrect by almost ten degrees. Today it shows high of 71F while all other weather apps and the news report a high of 81F. That’s a big difference and big error. Failure.

When you have double-tapped on the screen now you choice will be saved onto your device and will be the default.I have also redesigned the temperature conversion so it is more accurate. (Sorry for the previous version). And for your information when we compare the weather data from different sources there will always be some difference because we use different weather stations.Hope that you like the update.
