Now you can submit absence data as well as actual observations. That is, you can confirm that at a particular time and location, a given invasive plant or animal was not found.

The user interface has been changed to match the iOS 7 style. There is a new "data manager" option that allows you to edit or delete observation records prior to sending them to the database. A new search tool allows you to narrow down the list of species that is displayed for faster access. Now, once you select a specimen, you can report on it or view photos, fact sheet or map without the need to going back to the species list. The photo archive is no longer part of the app installer. This file is downloaded the first time the app is run.

Minor edits to the embedded database of current invasive species. New species added to this database.

Real-time maps that show all reported locations of any given species have been added. The user interaction for accessing species information has been simplified.

The Observations screen now updates the GPS every 25 meters to support dynamic collection of invasive species from a vehicle or walking. Map extent changes are animated and zoom is enabled. Minor bugs fixed and slight improvements in user experience based on users' feedback.
