Staying close with the people you care about is harder than it should be in 2025. Despite having tons of connections in our phone books, messaging apps and across social apps, we're often missing opportunities to see the people we care about IRL, and the context that helps us connect more deeply is scattered, or worse, forgotten entirely. It's painful to hear "I wish I'd known you were there!" or to forget what you spoke about the last time you connected with a friend.
Mozi helps you stay close with your people, whether that's knowing when you're in the same city, what events your friends are going to, remembering important details about their lives, or preserving important relationship context.
How Mozi Works:
- We enrich your contacts. Once you sync your iOS contacts, Mozi organizes all your people into cities (our best guess). Swipe left to hide people you don't want to see, or right to prioritize them.
- We capture context. Add Private Notes about the people you care about—how you met, their partner's name, what they mentioned last time. Pick up where you left off next time you speak.
- We help you see friends IRL. Add your upcoming trips and plans—we'll let you know if you overlap with friends. Share your plans with people not yet on Mozi so they know where to find you.
- We're fully private. No public profiles, handles, or searchable databases. You'll only see people who are in your iOS contacts. Your relationship context stays private unless you choose to share it.

The most valuable context about the people you know isn't public on the internet. It's in your lived experience with people - the conversation over dinner, what someone's really going through, the small details that help you pick up where you left off. Private Notes in Mozi makes it easy to capture anything you want to remember about someone in your contacts: how you met, what they mentioned last time you talked, what they care about. These notes live directly on their profile in Mozi (whether they've joined or not) and surface on your home screen as reminders.
