You have a universal right to privacy. Browse the web securely and privately with Mullvad VPN. It’s fast, trustworthy, and easy to use.

1. Install the app.
2. Click “Create account” to generate an anonymous account number.
3. Add time to your account via in-app purchases or on our website.

Maintain your anonymity:
* Creating an account requires no personal info - not even an email address.
* We keep no activity logs.
* Pay anonymously with cash or cryptocurrency.

Our iOS app uses WireGuard, a superior VPN protocol that connects fast and doesn’t drain your battery.

With Mullvad, your traffic travels through an encrypted tunnel to one of our VPN servers and then onward to the website you are visiting. In this way, websites will only see our server’s identity instead of yours. Same goes for your ISP; they’ll see that you’re connected to Mullvad, but not your activity.

Using a VPN is a great first step toward protecting your online privacy. We believe that privacy is a universal right.

Mullvad was founded in 2009 purely with the ambition of upholding the universal right to privacy - for you, for us, for everyone.

That's a tall order, but if you want to make a change, you've gotta start somewhere.

Since our humble beginning, our VPN service has helped to keep users' online activity, identity, and location private. Over the years, we've been blazing a trail forward to provide the most secure and anonymous VPN out there for everyone, for us, for you.

Fantastic app, fantastic service

Love Mullvad and have been using them for awhile now. The new app is so handy compared to before, where you’d have to download configurations manually and put them into the wireguard app.

There is one bug to be aware of - I had already paid for an extra month, but the app didn’t reflect this, and locked me out based on my previous expiration date. I had to log out and log back in to see the new date and get my service back.

No gimmicks fast reliable VPN

Mullvad is a no nonsense VPN. No pricing or extras gimmicks. It is fast and barely impacts my battery life which is the reason I switched from another provider. Love the idea of a flat monthly fee without long-term commitments. Choose your location and let Mullvad do the rest. You can experiment with the server choices for a given location to find the optimal speed. At home I have not noticed a meaningful drop in speed, but if I quantify it it is about 10% when comparing best speed without it and best with it which is excellent for a VPN. Don’t use it for streaming movies so can’t speak to this function. Mainly want an extra layer of security especially when joining a public Wifi or minimize being tracked to bombard me with ads based on my online activity. Looking forward to seeing how it performs if I get to travel overseas once the pandemic eases. The app does the job, but please make it fun! Have that mole tunnel through a map ;) When I cut the umbilical cord from FB and all Google products perhaps I’ll be free :)

No app drama. It just works.

On an iPhone 7 with an old battery (maximum capacity 73% per iOS 14.4.1), this app works flawlessly with *no* battery drain issue. Bandwidth is excellent using a server in Dallas (other server locations have not been tried). When the Internet connection is stopped and then restored, or when the iPhone is restarted, the app automatically reconnects to the same server location. The user interface is simple but reliable (what good is a fancy UI if it crashes frequently?) with no problems at all so far. The only con found is that you must remember to visit the Apple App Store each month to purchase another 30 days of VPN service -- as of this writing, a subscription which automatically bills your Apple account each month is not offered.
