This is the best way to convert various 3D formats to MV-HEVC for Apple Vision Pro. I've converted both Full and half SBS without problems. There is a bit of a learning curve with all the options, but it's not hard to figure out.I do wish it could convert MakeMKV 3D files, and it would be nice if it had some simple options to select settings for those who don't want to dig into the detailed setting, like "3D Movie for AVP" or "180VR for AVP" rather than having to make sure all your settings are correct before conversion.

I have been attempting to get the best quality video for immersive shots for the Vision Pro. I am using an Insta360 Pro 2 camera for filming. While it takes a few steps and time to get a file ready to be converted the effort has been worth it using this program. I’m getting videos that are simply excellent and play perfectly on the Vision Pro. I am converting h.265 stereo formats to MV.HEVC. I am using an Apple M2 Max studio. The only challenge is the amount of processing power needed and the time it takes to get to the final product. I highly recommend this program. I can’t wait to see the next improvement.

Simply outputs a regular flat HEVC, not Spatial. I attempted to convert a side-by-side video– the filesize more than doubled, and when I airdropped the "converted" file to my Vision Pro, it didn't recognize it as a Spatial video.Simply doesn't work!

I tried to convert a ProRes 4:4:4:4 VR180 clip and the result 1) cannot be played in AVP as immersive, but only in a window, very distorted and 2) the player stops after playing each frame.
