Launchpad allowed for creating custom folders to help organize huge app collections. With the release of macOS 26 Tahoe, traditional Launchpad has been removed! My Applications is even better than Launchpad and could just be the replacement you need in Tahoe. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is the inability to customize categories—even just to change which categories an app appears in which is the major shortcoming of Apple’s new Apps replacement for Launchpad. The ability to add tags—even a preset collection of tabs to make a few apps appear where you prefer and even in more than one category would be awesome. This and an option to switch between icon and list views would make My Applications even more compelling.

This is a great idea, Sergii. The original Mac OS Launchpad isn't neaarly as good as what you've created. However, as a graphic designer, I see that there is at least one major thing missing: subcategories.Every designer in the world will have types of apps. Some will deal with vectors, some with raster images. Some will be for photo editing and some for creating new images. Some will be for creating or organizing typefaces, and these days some might be AI tools for creation or clean-up.Putting all apps of one category into one place isn't good. In my Graphics & Design category there are 30 apps but Photoshop isn't there. It's in "Unknown" which is odd, given that it's been known for about 30 years.So please consider how to allow us to re-categorize apps via drag-and-drop as well as how to create our own categories and subcategories.Thank you for ehlping to improve the lives of eveyone who relies on Launchpad!

Great app, Only problem No config feature. Catagories is nice How ever the devloper can be hidden.

I've been looking for a tool that would allow me to search my apps by function and this is it. Super focused, categorizes by function, vendor, last used. Seems to keep its data private too which is a great plus. Cheap too! Nice job dev.
