App is junky

I like controlling my minisplit with an app... but this app is low on function and has a habit of erasing my scheduled settings for cooling and heating from the app but no the unit itself... so now i have no way to turn off old schedules ... frustrating

Working great

The app needs to remember my password or do Face ID, but besides that, so far it’s working great! I use the app to turn on and off all 4 of the mini splits determining on what time it is or what we are doing. Sometimes it doesn’t allow me to log on, so have to give it a 4 for that, especially if I have to reset my iPhone to get it to log in. Also, sometimes it’s really slow, needs to have an optimizer of some kind to talk to the USB unit faster.

Sleep function seems to work, like the child, elder buttons (don’t understand “young” setting, is that a baby?), timers work, just got a new button, but don’t have any idea of what it does, an easy to get to users manual in the app would be nice to tell what each button can do, instead of a weird looking icon.

So far, it works great though, would be awesome if it had an IFTTT function with my phone to turn on and off when I left the house.
App allows me and the wifi plug ins to use Alexa, but figuring out the voice commands and how to work them is probably the hard part, I wish I could ask it to set to fan and it goes to fan, or heat, it only goes to its last setting, which kind of defeats the point of having a “smart device” if it doesn’t listen to you. There might be a way, but I’m arguing with Alexa to figure them out??

Needs some serious work

Been using this app daily for about a year now. The GUI is clunky and has several buttons that don’t even work on my Danby window AC. That’s not the worst thing though. I have this linked to Alexa to turn my AC on and off. I’d guess about 60-70% of the time, she comes back with “sorry, AC is not responding” and I have to ask several times to get it to work. This may not be the app’s fault though.
However, another huge annoyance is that I’ll open the app regularly and receive “account verification failed” and have to log in again. This happens about once a week and is incredibly annoying.
If they even left the GUI alone and clunky but it at least worked consistently, I’d have a much better opinion of it, but as it is, it’s not dependable enough to ever trust.
