DISCLAIMER: Be sure to check with a doctor in addition to using the app and before making medical decisions. The OD-ME app is a tool for overdose rescue education. It instructs users on how to use naloxone to potentially rescue someone suffering from an overdose. Instructions cover how to use both nasal and intramuscular naloxone as well as steps to take while waiting for paramedics to arrive at the scene. The app also covers where people can attain naloxone, how to store naloxone, signs that someone may be suffering from an overdose, and information on types of opioids that naloxone could potentially reverse overdose from. The app uses text, diagrams, and voice-overs to convey this information.
