I do all of my work in Chrome and all of my personal browsing in Safari, and sometimes I sprinkle in DuckDuckGo when I’m not sure about a link. I absolutely love that this utility exists because it does exactly what I want it to. Someone sends me a link in Slack? No problem, click the link, choose Chrome. Someone sends me a link via iMessage? Click the link and choose Safari. That one friend sends one of those crazy links? Click the link and open in DuckDuckGo. It’s the perfect solution to a very specific problem and I love it. Couldn’t live without it now.

I've used OLW for going on a year. v2.5.1 works great and is free. But v3.0 turns OLW into a paid app and prevents you from continuing to use OLW unless you purchase a subscription or a lifetime license. If the developer wants to start charging, the appropriate course of action would be to make v3.0 a separate app in the App Store. People could continue using the old version, but new features would only be added to v3.0 and later. ... Of course, grandfathering existing users and providing a free license for v3.0 would be even better. .... I had to use Time Machine to roll back to the previous v2.5.1.

Loved the app and used it all the time until they add the subscription. I get it how are you supposed to make money but every app nowadays has a subscription to it and it has gotten out of hand. I’m better off just opening the link in the browser myself at this point and saving my money with how much everything is now.
