I have been using JDLink app since sometime in 2015 and although there were some functionality issues at times, I found it really useful! Two things that I especially liked that no longer work since the app was updated are...1. It no longer saves my login info which was so handy, and...2. The Directions To This Machine function no longer works. The only way to get the location of the machine is to Share Location then copy and paste the coordinates into Google maps.Please bring back the functionality the app had before. - Thanks!

I have been using JDLink app since sometime in 2015 and although there were some functionality issues at times, I found it really useful! This app is useful as a JD field technician. It allows me to locate machines to within a few yards and get an idea of trouble codes before a trip is made to machine. Although, the application does have it fair share of bugs that renders the app useless. The screen will completely turn white, without any ability to escape and reset. The best fix for this is to completely shut my phone off and reopen the app. Great idea, satisfactory and execution.

Constantly have to remove app, reinstall to get through work day. I had a laptop in 1995 that ran like this. (Update): I remove the app more than I use it. Have heard this is a problem with IOS, but not being an IT technical person all I can say is this app is more of a pain than having to receive smoke signals from the unit. Lots of money out there, lots of people very proud of their units and software. Can you be so proud of JDLink for an iPhone that mom will post it on her fridge?!Update: Delete app daily as part of phone shutdown, reload in the morning then 2x during work day. Nice if this just worked.
Wish I could love the app.

The main thing is that it allows techs to remote in to diagnose issues and provides codes for parts that may be having trouble. The 5yr option is a convenient purchase option for set it and forget it. Then the mobile techs have access when needed over the next 5yrs.
