PCGS does a great job with their apps! I personally like the NGC slabs better than PCGS (plus their prices are cheaper), but this app is the #1 reason why I switched to PCGS coins. It is absolutely amazing. It is the perfect and free way to organize your collection and post it with the rest of the world. There are many expensive pieces of software available for collection inventory, but none of them come close to the features and ease of use of the PCGS Set Registry and the rest of the apps. One of my favorite features of this is the app itself. I used to use paid software on my computer for organizing the collection, but I would have to print out or take a picture of the spreadsheet before going to a coin show or coin shop. With this app, I’m able to see exactly what I have and exactly what I need quickly and easily on-the-go. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

This app gives you the ability to create virtual inventory with valuable information about your items at the palm of your hand. Sets, Rankings, and CommunityOnce your inventory of graded/ certified coins are in, you can build sets ( like coin folders) and compete with other collectors. Compare your collection and progress to other collections. Keep a running inventory and value of your certified collection including items form other certification providers. Even better you have at your fingertips the ability to buy, sell and trade and tools that help you determine value and rarity. To sum it all up it’s much like being in a collector club or at a coin show that you can check in and show off daily. The app is part of a family of valuable tools and information sources online and in the real world. PCGS is part steward, part stake holder and trusted authority to the hobby. This is a great way to add so much to your collecting. And although PCGS memberships are an attractive addition to your hobby, everything mentioned in this review is free!I can always think of features and ideas to make it better, but my all star rating is based on the value, ease of use and enjoyment of the app. I think you will agree if you give it a try.

Can’t create folders in your collection

I was pretty excited about this app. I got a lot of proof and mint sets and some random coins from an estate sale and wanted to catalog everything with prices and pictures, then be able to sort my collection for clarity instead of staring at a pile of random stuff. After inputting a chunk of proof sets, I found that you can create groupings of your collection by using the Sets or Showcase functions. However, you can only create Sets and Showcases with coins certified by PCGS. I understand that the Sets are considered officially verified and used for competitions, but why not allow users to create sub folders or groups in their collection strictly for their own organizational purposes?Without the ability to create groups I’m still staring at a pile of random stuff with limited sorting functionality, but I can get that and more with a basic spreadsheet.
