Photo Watermark Converter Ratings and Reviews

Works quickly and has good interface, save to both lossy and lossless formats. Needs a few more options to be top notch.
Shortcomings:
- You can only specify the max render size in one direction at a time.
- You can’t have a drop shadow on watermarks to allow it to be subtly visible on backgrounds.
- Positoning is only in 7 predetermined locations (not a large problem for me.)
- Should convert file names to web safe format (underscores for spaces)
- Can’t set font size by point size (need finer control over size).

Fix these things and it would get 4 stars. Give it the options to slide the wartermark to a new custom location on the thumbnail images, and allow me to dump similar images into different folders for different processing setups and you would get 5 stars.

This app does what I was looking for, which is stamping my logo or text on my photos. The only downfall is that it's slow as a snail, this is when I'm adding text to my photos. If it can improve in speed, I'd give this 4 or 5 stars.

I’ve been looking for a simple app to watermark my pictures and after trying several in the app store I finally found this one and it is just waht I was looking for. The app comes with a help file and the link in the app disciption goes to a real support site if you need assistance.

Totally agree with LonestarPaul. Viewing your watermark after the fact UGGH come on! Thus saving my converted photos out of order with the watermark to Applications and NOT the folder of my choice is useless. Why would you develop a straight forward easy to use app and leave those KEY FACTORS out. Please correct this issue. Otherwise I would give it a high rating. Saving photos out of order in which they were loaded is a huge hassle, sporting events , weddings geez!

It will import your animated gifs and output a file with a gif extension, but it will not be animated.

Dev refunded so I updated to 4 stars. I was strictly looking to watermark animated gifs so this app isn’t right *for me.*

Definitely not worth paying for as this application is VERY UNSTABLE and repeatedly crashes EVERY time the application has been opened. Deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help either. Spending $5 on the #2 combo meal at Taco Bell would have been a lot more satisfying.

I can't find a help section to learn the app. Instrucitons should be plainly visible.

this is the 3rd watermarking app i have purchased. the interface and options on this app are very nice, however…the app does not keep your photo in it's original state once it's saved with the watermark. i tested my first photo. the size of the file before watermarking was 10mb; the saved file with the watermark was only 2.8mb. this is the 2nd app i've bought that does this…photographers don't want their photos' quality reduced by your app. secondly, the watermark text can only be placed in preset locations, i.e. "top left" "bottom right". you should be able to position the text anywhere you want on the photo. thirdly, there are only 4 preset text sizes: mini, small, medium, large. where is the drop down box with all the text sizes in numbers??. finally, there is no ability to rotate the text to any angle other than horizontal.

We are a small design group dealing with project photos and illustrations all through the day.
This app is a professional, quick and well conceived solution to watermarking or titling large
numbers or individual images. This is one of those great apps that will stay on the dock.

We just reviewd Watermark FX for my website. It was given to us by the developer, I liked it so much I just bought a copy to show my support. The app is built very well. If you need to ad a watermark to one or many images you want this app.
