Very Similar

This is so weird. I downloaded this game because it reminded me a lot of Color Island by Athena Studios. And playing it it’s Eerily similar. Down the the island names and everything. Did you have similar artists design these? Either way it’s not a bad game. I think I still prefer the original. But I’m gonna start using this one because I’ve mostly finished the other name.

***Edit - I had to change my review from 2 stars to 1 star. The ads have now become completely inappropriate, so don’t let your kids play or they will be bombarded with a picture of what appears to be a mannequin or some type of fake person’s ***hole with someone else sticking their finger inside and then go on to talk about erectile dysfunction. The week prior has been ads for bras with several women in only their bras showing them off. The bra commercial was dumb, but the ***hole commercial is so over the top disgusting 🤮!!

***Original post- It seems there was some sort of update to this game in the last few hours that forces you to watch ads in the middle of game play. Prior to today, the game was only making me watch ads between levels and that did not bother me. Today I started to play and now I am getting a message while in the middle of a level saying “break time in 2 seconds” as a warning and then forces you to watch the ad. I will say the ads are very short, but I don’t like being interrupted n the middle of game play. Also, it is too expensive to pay for no ads. I’m not sure how much longer I will play this game because of the ads.

Exact 100% Copy of COLORLAND by Athena Studio

This game is one of two things, it’s either -
1. An unauthorized, one-to-one plagiarized game that ripped the file from Athena Studios and named it something else to get money, OR -
2. The developer completely abandoned the original version COLORLAND, the one I completed and spent almost a year waiting for them to update, and created a new game development company name and reposted it as a different game to make money outside Athena.

Honestly this is completely ridiculous. If the dev seriously abandoned their game and just ripped the file to repost it as something new, that’s a huge slap in the face to the people who actually played the original. I really do love COLORLAND and thought it was extremely unique and I love the pixel art style, but now it’s completely obvious that game was abandoned to put all their time and players money into this game, which again, is an exact copy of COLORLAND.. So if you played the original and want to play more, you’ll have to start over in this one to get more content. Extremely weird situation and really screwed the original players…
