This update introduces motion simulation, allowing you to fast-forward and rewind time to see how the planets and moons move. It also brings realistic lighting, redesigned orbit trails and other visual components, and a redesigned navigation UI, including a search menu to find objects quickly. On visionOS, the app has been totally redesigned to show the Solar System at a realistic scale – now, you’ll feel like you’re part of the experience as you visit different worlds.

We've added a simulator to give you a representation of where each of the planets are located in real-time. We've overhauled the look of the app and given it a much more sleek appearance. You will also find more detailed properties and characteristics for each object.
