Can't get beyond the blatant self-serving ads

That says it all, when faced with ads for other apps before I can even try out the interface, I deleted the app. Such a huge fail!

What Gives?

This is the second app from this guy that I've downloaded and found that nothing happens! I end up deleting it. FRUSTRATING!!!
