Wonderful start to our 20th Anniversary

We spent 3 amazing nights at Park Plaza Riverbank and we had the most wonderful stay and experience. Every single person was the most friendliest, helpful and always went above and beyond. Our room was Magical… it had absolutely the best view we could ask for. The parliament and Big Bend shining bright, the Lambeth Bridge lighting up at night, the Eye lit up and all those lights reflecting off the water. Complaint about the night manager Mark Harmon

My son and stayed at Park Plaza County Hall for last 5 nights. The day reception folks were great.. helpful and courteous. They suggested to call the reception when we need the room to be cleaned as they don’t clean the room every day. We followed the instruction. The last day, the cleaning crew showed up and we specifically told them not to clean. Our stuff were all over the room and we were in middle of packing. When we came back around 8:30 pm, we found our room cleaned and all my receipts that I was saving for the tax return claim ( about £1100) were gone. I called the reception immediately and the night manager Mark Harmon, he said there is nothing he can do to help me as I didn’t call the reception and requested ‘Not to Clean’ the room. He was rude and not helpful at all.

Dear Guest, thank you for providing us with your feedback. Please be aware that a DND sign needs to be displayed and we can see this was not the case with your room. We will automatically service rooms as per our welcome letter given at check-in every 3 days. If you do not want an automatic service, reception needs to be informed. Nonetheless, we apologise if there was any miscommunication with our team member and for the misplacement of your receipts. Our night manager checked the 11th-floor housekeeping rubbish bags, however, he could not find the receipts. Not happy

On the first night sleeping, I became aware that my king size bed was two twin beds shoved together. I had booked two connecting rooms with king size beds. That is not what I got or paid for after talking with the front desk Tuesday morning I was told they could not move us till Wednesday now the two rooms are connecting one with a king bed the other with a queen, which is a handicap room, which is anything but convenient or comfortable for a non-handicapped person. Neither room has a viewable window which the other rooms did. Would be nice if people would just properly do their jobs something that has disappeared in the age of post Covid. So I sit here disgusted but what am I supposed to do? Keep complaining that only seems to make the situation worse. I stayed here four years ago and had a good experience. I am pretty sure I will not be coming back again.
