Not Relaxing, And Monetization Strategy is a Bummer

Supposedly, you can unlock the game by playing, but if you come up short, there’s no way to go back and pick up a few more stars. Instead, you are required to start a new game (forfeiting all of your earned coins) and try to get what you need by playing the entire level again. Tedious and stressful since coins are earned by finding things fast. A game like this is meant to be treated like a jigsaw puzzle; relaxing. This is... not relaxing.

I could, of course, buy coins to unlock those levels but since you are buying consumables to unlock levels instead of just paying to unlock it directly, nobody else on my family account can enjoy the game without also paying to unlock the content.

Too bad. It has charm and would be fun if I could just buy the darn thing outright for a reasonable price.

Update: Developer response to this review gives me hope! Looking forward to seeing some tweaks so I can throw some money at this game and play it the way (I think) it’s meant to be played.

Absolutely deceitful

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!I paid for the original app and thought it was great. I used it as part of my curriculum to teach kids english idioms. I had access to all four of the original puzzles. AFTER THE UPDATE, THEY NOW WANT ME TO PAY FOR COINS AND UNLOCK CONTENT I ORIGINALLY PAID FOR!!! I ORIGINALLY HAD ACCESS TO ALL THE PUZZLES BEFORE THE UPDATE. THIS IS A RIP OFF!!! I used to recommend this app to many of my adult students, not anymore. In he past the app was flexible, basically letting you explore the maps and choose which idioms you wanted to find, it was actually fun. You’ve traded that for a very narrow and rigid game that milks money from the user.

Great fun!

This is be of the best app games I've played. Something to use my brain, be challenged, yet able to enjoy. I rarely pay for a game but the additional games were worth it. I hope they add more soon!
