Re-imagined Command-Tab. Switch apps instantly just by their first letter! • Hold down the right side |⌘ command| and press the first letter of the app name to focus apps instantly • The Dynamic algorithm will choose the most useful app for each letter * The algorithm will adapt in real time to your workflow • If apps live on separate spaces, rcmd will switch to the relevant space * Switching spaces needs the following setting enabled: - System Preferences --> Mission Control --> "When switching to an application, switch to a Space with open windows for the application" • When pressing the key while the app is already focused, you can use one of 2 useful functions * HIDE: Show/Hide the app instantly * CYCLE: Focus other apps with the same first letter Assign custom keys for your favorite apps • Hold down |⌘ command| + |⌥ option| and press any letter to assign that letter permanently to the currently focused app • When an app is in the STATIC list: * the assigned key can launch the app when it isn't running * the HIDE/CYCLE setting can be adjusted on a per-app basis Customize the app to your liking • the Trigger setting allows you to change the Right Command trigger to any combination of modifiers * this will come in handy if you have a keyboard without a Right Command key • disable specific letters from being registered by rcmd * click on the Settings button to find the Enabled Keys setting • App Switcher UI * you can optionally see running apps with their assigned keys while holding Right Command (or your custom trigger key)

Where has this been all my life? I’ve gone from using multiple Stream Decks, multiple apps for keyboard shortcuts, and nothing—I say NOTHING—has been easier to set up or use than RCMD. You can play with the trial from their website before buying, but it only took me about 5 minutes to decide this was for me. It also works great for switching to Windows apps in Parallels. This is just absolutely amazing and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. BUY THIS NOW!

I reported a bug and received a productive response very quickly -- love to see that. And in my first hour of usage, I realized I couldn't use my muscle-memory shortcuts for selecting the url bar or page zooming anymore. I almost wrote a feature request before seeing that we could toggle keys off easily in the rcmd menu app. Love the thoughtful design!

Love the UI! I liked how there was no real limitations on how often you used the free version, so you use it enough to think "yeah it'd great to support the developer!". The dev is also active on social media and transparent, so that's a from me (:

Not full-fledged window switcher

I enjoy using this app!However, when I switch to an app that has multiple windows (e.g. Finder with mutiple windows), it only shows the active window of the app. It would be great if it is a full-fledged window switcher.

Unfortunately the macOS sandbox that’s being enforced by the App Store doesn’t allow us to get a list of an app’s windows and switch between them.
