Really like the game, but…when playing on Hard, the CPU makes impossible shots and on Hard, sometimes when trying combination shots, especially easy combos, the first hit ball goes thru the second (combo) ball. Also, playing in 3D mode is really difficult and does not view the same as if you “were there”.But still fun…I definately recommend getting the game...

Right. At first I liked the game, colors were vibrant and articulations was satisfactory, however the view was cut off, could not see the whole pool table, had to PAN to see where the balls were going!, and they were not round but oval. The stick could not alter it’s angle once one pulled back on it. People who play this game may change their angle as they pull back on the stick, so that’s another problem. My advise for real pool players here, if you would like to enjoy a complete virtual pool game that is also safe for your computer, then go up in price and get a better more accurate game. There is no excuse for oval shaped balls or heat waving the cpu. i finally had to cut the game short, turn off the mac to cool, and throw the game in the trash after the heat wave, fan drastically accelerated, so what choice did I have!! They do not know what they are doing. Read other reviews to verify this. Don’t waste your money or your computer!

Like others, the "oval" balls are annoying, and I've always attributed it to the fact that it's simply not set to adjust to my 27" screen. However, if you reduce it to the only other size option, not only is it too small to see or play properly, the balls are still oval. The actions are sticky sometimes and a ball will freeze at the edge of a hole and not go in. The tendency of the CPU to refuse to break properly over & over again is very annoying. The overheating CPU is also a concern, especially since I have a 6 core processor, and it simply shouldn't happen.

I have been playing Real Pool 3D on my iPad for 4 years. No other pool app for iOS even comes close. So I decided to get it for my Mac. And guess what: no other pool app for macOS even comes close. These developers really do know what they are doing. Their apps are perfect. I could compliment and rave about this app and other apps by these developers all night long, but I won’t, because the time you spend reading this is time you could be playing Real Pool 3D.
