This program is Brillient for the price. It works well!What it Does: Straight forward regression (Curve Fit) program for Mac OSX. Intuitive interface enables data input and computation of corresponding equation with ease. Graphing of result enables comprehension of curve fit trends relative to data. This is useful because curve fits tend to fit the middle but not the ends of data sets — such behavior can be easily identified. Analysis can be repeated for other equation forms based on original data set.This program handles more common math equations and also includes the Gaussian distribution. The Gaussian application is interesting as it provides an easy way to establish a Gaussian curve based on left tail data as might be used in a reliability study of early failure data.What it Does Not Do: This is not a spreadsheet tool. Thus variational studies based on simulated data sets can not be accomplished by use of a single tool but would require use in concert with a spreadsheet.Conclusion: A very useful and intuitive tool. Fabulous for the price but is a “point and shoot” kind of product rather than the “do all, show all” statistical tool one might expect for 25 times the price. St. Paul

Far better than other curve-fitting data treatment apps I’ve used. Straightforward, with broad equation-generation choices; the only improvement I can think of would be the option of saving larger bodies of data within the app, rather than having to import from a separate .csv file each time a point is added. All in all, well done.

It's only 99 cents, so if it does what you want, fine. It does a nice job, within its severe limitations, of providing multiple types of fits. But be aware that entry of data is awkward, as you enter values into two boxes and then click to make a new row from them. And yes, it's ONLY two values for each line, a Y-yalue and one single X-value.

I immediatetly tried to enter values and it would not work. I also tried to import a .csv file and it just freezes up.
