Excellent Product for Almost 20 Years
I started using Roboform to evaulate it almost 20 years ago as a syndicated columnist. I have been using it on both PC and Mac platforms and numerous browsers; and later, iPhone and iPad. In the early days, the iOS versions were rough, mostly due to those platforms' limitations. Nowadays they work well. After evaulating several other password managers both in the early days and now, I still feel strongly that Roboform is the best password manager on the market. How about a tvOS version thats syncs next, Syber Systems?
Roboform still misbehaving
I should not have to change my browser settings because a deceptively configured browser extension decided to change them for me. Put it in the menu and don't offer to change the things that I have set on my own. That's obnoxious.
Also, I just picked up my macbook. It was unplugged and, without opening it, I thought maybe I should plug it in to charge the battery. Shortly after I did that, the fan came on. When I opened the macbook adn checked the activity monitor, the CPU was pegged at 100%, showing Safari as the offender.
So, I looked, and the Roboform extension icon in hte Safari taskbar had that moving red thing on it. It doesn't look like anything specific, so I don't know what to call it. It is now appearing on both my imac and my macbook. I disabled the extension and the CPU dropped back down to where it should be. The Roboform extension is attempting to do something in the background and that something is using all of the CPU. I don't know what changes you made to this thing, but it's terrible and untrustworthy.

To change the homepage settings, click the 3 dots menu on the extension > Settings > and then set 'Extension button click opens Start Page on empty tabs' to 'No'. If that doesn't solve the issue please reach out to our support team at https://www.roboform.com/support and we will take a closer look.
it’s easy, it’s safe
I have heard a couple of contradictory things in regards to the latest roboform iteration so I was kind of hesitant to download it. but since i work with multiple platforms daily i eventually just had to succumb, and now i can assure you this was the right decision. it’s easy, it’s safe, it works with almost all of the existing browsers
