Hurray. The World's first 3D Grade Control Solution is here :) - Sampling Domains for LiDAR Mesh Scans: Use the Apple Pencil to assign geological domains to a LiDAR mesh scan. The app will automatically calculate area percentage values for all domains. 3D domains can be exported as textured mesh (OBJ+MTL+JPG) and/or in CSV file format. - Sample Sets for LiDAR Mesh Scans: Enhance your grade control with the ability to add Linear Sample Sets (e.g., Channel Samples) or Point Sample Sets (e.g., Grab Samples) directly to a LiDAR mesh scan, all in full 3D. This feature also includes options for adding QAQC data (Duplicates, Blanks, Standards) as well as Sample Attributes. - 3D Mapping & 3D Sampling Report: Users can manually frame the report image for both the Mapping Report and the Sampling Report in case the automatically captured image of the 3D LiDAR scan isn't to their likings. - Increased LiDAR Mesh Scan Size Limit: Users can now capture LiDAR mesh scans that are up to 20% larger in a single session compared to version 3.1. - Other Improvements: a) Author button has been removed. Major release with brand-new LiDAR Mesh Capture Tool and Augmented Reality Visualisation (AR). - LiDAR Mesh Capture. Generate photorealistic 3D models of UG Rock Faces and Walls (Digital Twin). Compared to LiDAR point clouds they have a much higher geological fidelity and at the same time produce smaller file sizes that are ready for Augmented Reality. - Augmented Reality (AR). Capture a digital twin of a rock face with the new LiDAR Mesh Capture tool and then revisit the rock face back in the office using AR. No additional hardware or VR/AR goggles required; works on any modern iOS device. - Multi-Select Pick Lists for Report Fields. Mapping Report Fields, Sampling Report Fields and Q Report Fields can now be configured as Multi-Select Pick Lists. - Descriptions for Pick List Values. When using pick lists (multi-select or single-select) for Report Fields, then besides the pick list value itself you can now also add a description (e.g., 2-5 ppm / medium grade). - Enforce Author Input. For every new Rock Face it's now mandatory to pick / enter an Author.
