I just barely got it and it's pestering me to write a review. It seems to work well, I have not read very far yet, seems to be packed with information. Occasionally there is a word that I do not know the definition of. It would be nice if there was more than one video. multiple ways to start fires would be nice not just one. It appears to recommend a knife as the number one survival tool, but in my opinion a folding saw would be much more useful. And like I said I have not read very far yet.

This app is ok but I got it several years ago then purchased the paid version. Long story short. I now have a new iPhone and noticed there was another sas “book” on the app when I went to purchase it I noticed my previous purchase was gone. No big deal I restored purchases..........no purchase found. It was only like 4.99 and I remember most of the content but it’s more the principal. I’m not going to purchase the other one or any other sas app ever. Whether it was a mistake or they are intentionally ripping ppl off idk but it is terrible and I hate it because some of the app was useful. It could be improved so much by making a few minor changes adding a few details and features and removing so if the useless stuff but seems they forget about you after they get your money.

Wasn't as bad as I thought it might be compared to other "LITE" apps. I liked the quiz option to test my knowledge, and the pictures are a nice quick reference. Wish there was more content in it, but everything you need to know about basic survival is there.

Don’t bother with this “free” version. It has one section, Essentials. Every topic you click on whether it’s direction finding or finding water just say the following “ Begin by preparing yourself to be a survivor. That means preparation in every sense. This section is concerned with making sure that you have the right equipment for any expedition you undertake. It introduces the idea of carrying a pocket-sized kit of carefully selected key survival aids – which should go with you everywhere.A knife is your most important survival tool. It must be chosen and used carefully and it must be kept in perfect condition.Equally important is a personal preparedness, so that you are both physically and psychologically equipped to deal with the stresses and hazards of survival conditions. You must have a clear understanding of survival needs, especially of the need for – and ways of obtaining – water.” Whoever made this app needs a punch in the face.
