Outdated Content

There's really nothing wrong with the app apart from the training material consists of old Matt Cutts videos already available online. So it's very dated. The recommended apps are fine, and Xenu is still useful, but c'mon. (The recommended tools appear to the the extent of original content.)

The news section is basically SEJ & SEL RSS. And you can't escape the internal browser. The "game" is a nonsensical number-crush. The "tests" requires a login to EdApp. The "quiz" requires you to authenticate with Google to complete the Google Form–a privacy concern.

You'll do far better just reading Google's guidelines and studying the up-to-date free courses at Moz or Wix Anonymously.

❯ I was most concerned that the app requested location data.
